bygone snow is a visual novel for the Game Boy Advance. The game started development on September 4th, 2025 and was finished in exactly two weeks.
Features:
- A short story (around 30 minutes) about two people and their relationship as their time comes to an end.
- An original soundtrack by Kishan02 and Mireille Scieppan. You can download it here for free, both the ingame version and original audio quality. It's also now on streaming.
- This is a game ROM made for the Game Boy Advance, and can thus be played on anything that plays Game Boy Advance games.
- Windows emulated version that is set to try and visually mimic the looks of a GBA, and with controls set to mirror your typical PC visual novels.

This game is part of the Garenburg series, but it is a standalone title that requires no previous information to play.

It's incredible how much feeling and history you present between these two in such a short time. I found myself truly caring for them, and feeling the transient ephemeral nature of life and the relationships we experience all at once. 10/10, I cried.
This was actually quite an enjoyable experience, I didn't expect to feel as much grief toward the two girl's as I did.
I think it's a tragedy that their relationship could only begin to improve ironically in the scenario where there is no foreseeable future left for them, simply to well, live.
Let alone continue repairing their broken relationship, even though its obvious that both of them still want to, even after all this time.
